Phillip Dutton has been very gracious in meeting with Glynnie Walford on several occasions since the install of the MC Ecotrack® in the indoor arena at True Prospect Farm. An important initiative of Glynnie’s is the follow up with her clients after an install and to revisit the site to ensure that each part of the project was executed correctly and to the standards of all her clients.
When we arrived at True Prospect Farm on Thursday, September 15th, the farm was buzzing with activity due to the start of the Plantation Field International CIC, which is held each year on the property of Mr. & Mrs. Cuyler Walker, in a section of beautiful rolling land adjacent to the Cheshire Foxhounds kennels. The location hosts multiple recognized and unrecognized events throughout the year, and is run by Denis Glaccum, a celebrated lifelong competitor & horse professional. With the support & volunteer efforts of many generous community horse people, the event has flourished and grown into a fabulous international event.
Phillip’s parking lot was packed with rigs, and both the indoor and outdoor rings were bussling. Many friends & fellow competitors had hauled in for a last minute school or for stabling until moving over to the Plantation show grounds for the weekend. The new footing in the indoor was being put to the test with multiple riders schooling and preparing for Friday’s dressage at Plantation Field.
Phillip continuous work with Martin Collins is in the true spirit of partnership. His willingness and expertise in evaluating the new arena and showing enthusiasm for bringing US awareness of the benefits of our products is simply humbling. He and Glynnie are together in their passion for educating fellow equestrians to the importance of working their horses on a surface that allows proper movement & prevents injuries. Having observed many horses working on Phillip’s prior footing indoor, there was a notable increase in the energy throughout the arena with each horse & rider combination. It was also difficult not to observe the how many pitchforks and wheel barrows were parked along the side of the ring, in an attempt to keep the footing looking straight out of the show room, just like a shiny new sports car!
We at Martin Collins wish to thank Phillip and Evie Dutton for choosing MC Ecotrack® as the surface for their indoor, and we encourage you to check back often regarding announcements of future events, clinics and educational seminars planned in partnership with True Prospect Farm!
